SRK spoke how Deepika would end up eating not only her own food but also the food kept aside for the cast and crew of the film during the outdoor shoots. As a result, poor team ‘Chennai Express’ ended up surviving on tea and biscuits for the rest of the shoot.

A daily reports that since Deepika trains with fitness expert Yasmin Karachiwala (Kareena Kapoor’s ex trainer), she would need Yasmin to help her train while shooting for Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ in Dubai. And to the shock of the film makers, everyday Yasmin spent with Deepika cost them Rs 35,000!

So all in all, it would not have been a happy time for the makers of ‘Happy New Year’ to see the total bill of Rs 10,50,000 (Ten lakh, fifty thousand) for keeping their heroine in great shape during the 30-day shooting schedule.
